How to Knit Scarf
Lysanne Latulippe and Meghan Price had a close-knit friendship for years. But it took a decade for them to start String Theory, their textile design research and creation studio, driven by a determination to bring to market products of the best possible quality, drawing on the physical properties of fibres and patterns inspired by forms found in nature as well as those built by people.
Their shawls (Checkered) and scarves (How to Knit and Pixelate) are tightly woven or knit, with bold, assertive graphics, in tones of black, grey and white. The materials, like Peruvian alpaca, cashmere or merino wool, provide plenty of reasons to bundle up or to weave new friendships.
