Made-in-Montréal exhibition “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk” designed by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is continuing to tour the world, and will be presented in Seoul, South Korea, in March 2016 during the Fashion Week at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza.
Six Montréal projects are in the running for the second edition of the Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents that rewards the efforts of young designers who have contributed to improving environmental quality as well as social and economic development—more specifically, making cities more liveable.
Montrealers and visitors are invited, from December 10 to January 31, to explore Impulse, a winter installation comprising 30 giant seesaws that will transform the Place des Festivals into a vast illuminated playground, accompanied by a set of all-new video projections. The call for proposals is officially open for Luminothérapie 2016-2017, Quebec’s largest competition for temporary public art installations.
