The firm’s name conveys its interest in the many manifestations of the city. Its slogan, “Make architecture a public policy,” testifies to the importance it ascribes to the public role of architecture. In recognition of its contribution to the dynamic energy of Québec architecture, the firm has earned many awards and publications, along with numerous invitations to present its projects and exhibit them throughout North America and Europe. Atelier Big City received the Prix de Rome 1998-99.
