Un Montréal vibrant Sketches
Camille Pomerleau is the Montréal illustrator behind Pipo Illustration. Her entirely hand-drawn sketches are meant to spur us to discover the objects and buildings around us, so that they become characters in our everyday lives. No surprise, then, that the city of Montréal should be her subject. But she adds a touch of the imaginary, the fantastic, the surrealist to the cityscape.
Her drawings revisit these often-seen landmarks, from Olympic Stadium to Silo No. 5, the Clock Tower, Habitat 67, Place Ville Marie and more, with a playful eye. All of her illustrations are printed on beautiful archive-quality paper… to keep for a long, long time.
