COVID emergency: 160 sucessful interventions!

The Bureau du design is proud to have backed the application of Architecture Without Borders Québec (Architecture sans frontières Quebec—ASFQ) to the selection committee overseeing the call for proposals from NPOs by Montréal’s department of economic development, aimed at providing various types of technical support to Montréal businesses.

With contribution from the Ville de Montréal, the organization has been assisting, from June to October 2020,  over 160 merchants  and organization in need of help adapting their establishments to comply with social distancing and health measures issued by public health authorities. With Centraide contribution the project will continue until March 2021!

The ASFQ is also proud to have released its commercial anti-COVID adaptation guide (in French).
