The city’s Bureau du design has developed two guides (available in French only) for members of the municipal administration wishing to set up a design panel or hold a design or architecture competition.

A third guide will be published to help them hold design workshops.

The Guide for design and architecture competitions is intended for members of the municipal administration who are deciding whether to hold a competition, as well as for members of the municipal administration who are involved in planning and holding a competition or organizing one. Learn more.

The Guide for design panels is intended for municipal managers and other parties involved, to help them understand the scope, benefits and keys to success for this process. Learn more.

The Bureau du design will be pleased to help municipal stakeholders in implementing either of these strategies.
