Galet Oil Lamp
Sébastien Duchange and Marie-Hélène Beaulieu shape glass with their breath. Like the water in a river carrying silt, sand and gravel, they sometimes shape them into pebbles, akin to those you might pick up as a souvenir of a shoreside stroll. They started their studio in 2006, creating contemporary objets d'art, but above all, respecting the traditional savoir-faire of their craft.
Their glass-blown oil lamp, with its gentle shapes, recalls stone smoothed by the action of our fast-flowing waters. The fluid, organic design diffuses light that flickers, as if by a puff of breath.
