The winning project met the seven judging criteria evaluated by the jury. In their report, the jury members noted that the team demonstrated a keen understanding of the vision and values sought by the project, which aims to enhance quality of life for residents of Pointe-Saint-Charles. The proposal outlines a project that promises to bring people together and takes a sensitive approach to the neighbourhood’s environment and the people who live there.
With its emphasis on sustainability, creativity and innovation in the service of the green and social transition, the winning team’s proposal is fully consistent with the Montréal 2030 Agenda for Quality and Exemplarity in Design and Architecture.
