The Montréal 2030 Agenda states that the following strategies are key to instilling a stronger design culture in Montréal: mobilize and engage project teams around shared quality objectives; converse and communicate in an inclusive, transparent manner; collectively envision the intended experience by deploying cross-cutting and interdisciplinary initiatives; entrust mandates using a contract awarding method that emphasizes bid quality; reframe projects by submitting them to critical review; and sustain quality over the full life cycles of projects.
