The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership announces the finalists for the 2012 edition of its Light Therapy contest, phase 1: activities and installations for public spaces.
The jury met on June 7, 2012 to evaluate 32 applications and to designate 5 finalist teams according to the evaluation criteria set out in the competition rules.
The finalists will have 1 week to produce a sketch. At the end of this second stage, the finalists will present their service offering to the jury June 19, 2012. The name of the winning team selected by the jury will be announced at the end of June.
Last year, the contest yielded Nuage de givre, Éclats de verre and Forêt Forêt, which were installed in Place des Festivals, Place Émilie-Gamelin and outside the Saint-Laurent metro station, respectively. This year, Place des Festivals and the Place des Arts esplanade will be enhanced by the talents of one of the finalists, from December 6, 2012 through February 23, 2013.
