Photo competition - Montreal, everyday design - the results

The 34th Montréal à l’œil photography competition winners are announced. The jury chose three winning photographs from some 300 entries.

1st prize, awarded to Adrien Williams for the photo Printemps Montréalais

He wins a Tourisme Montréal photography contract worth $2000.

2nd prize, awarded to Philip Roberge for the photo Maison Symphonique

He wins a $1000 gift certificate at Photoservice.

3rd prize, awarded to Süleyman Mutlu for his photo Colours

He wins a $500 gift certificate for objects by Montreal designers in the CODE Souvenir catalogue, edited by the Bureau du design.

Exhibition

The exhibition Montreal, Everyday Design, open to the public at Espace Infopresse in May 2013, showed 65 photographs by amateurs and professionals, considered the best among the many entries.

The 65 images are posted on the web site of the Centre d’histoire de Montréal, ville.montreal.qc.ca/chm.
