Montréal libraries - Architecture and design awareness activities selected

The Ville de Montréal’s Bureau du design and Direction associée – Bibliothèques (DAB) are pleased to announce the projects selected following the March call for proposals to the city’s boroughs and public libraries.

Financial assistance totalling $25,776 is awarded to Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Saint-Léonard and Ville-Marie boroughs to support original, enriching activities in seven different libraries.

Selected Projects

  1. Self-serve mini-libraries in Ville-Marie, in collaboration with Père-Ambroise and Frontenac libraries
  2. Mediation regarding the most suitable space for teens at Saint-Léonard Library
  3. Workshop at La Petite-Patrie Library, commented tour and talk at Marc-Favreau Library, and participatory workshop at Rosemont Library
  4. Construction of spaces for teens at Rivière-des-Prairies Library
