CODE SOUVENIR MONTRÉAL designers at the Fashion & Design Festival from August 23 to 26, 2017

August 7, 2017

After SIDIM (Montréal Design Show), C2 Montréal, and the XII World Congress of Metropolis (World Association of the Major Metropolises), the city’s Bureau du design and its CODE SOUVENIR MONTRÉAL initiative will appear at the Fashion & Design Festival, held at Place des Festivals in Montréal’s Quartier des spectacles.

Some 30 Montréal designers from the 2016-2017 CODE SOUVENIR MONTRÉAL catalogue will take part in the festival, which offers a glimpse into the world of fashion and design. The designers will be on hand to present and sell their products and to promote Montréal creativity. Festivalgoers will be able to admire the breadth of the city’s design talent and perhaps even take home a unique item that can only be found here.

The Fashion & Design Festival is a grand open-air celebration of creativity and culture in the heart of downtown Montréal. With 50 shows, nearly 300 participants, and some 550,000 visitors, the Fashion & Design Festival is a key showcase for fashion, design, music, beauty, and shopping trends.

The whole idea behind CODE SOUVENIR MONTRÉAL is to encourage public-sector organizations and private companies to purchase products emblematic of Montréal, UNESCO City of Design to give as corporate gifts, promotional items, and souvenirs for VIP guests.

CODE SOUVENIR MONTRÉAL receives funding from the ministère de la Culture et des Communications under the Entente sur le développement culturel de Montréal, and from the Secrétariat à la région métropolitaine as part of the implementation of Entente Montréal 2025.
