Call for mission programs: 5 firms selected to represent Montréal
This summer, the Bureau du design launched its first call for mission programs for professionals registered with the Directory of Montréal designers. The goal was to select firms to take part in various upcoming events this Fall in three UNESCO cities of design.
The selection committee chose the following designers:
Mission to Detroit, United States, as part of Detroit Month of Design from September 1 to 30:
Mission to Turin, Italy, as part of Torino Design of the City from October 12 to 21:
Mission to Kortrijk, Belgium, as part of the Biennale Intérieur from October 18 to 22:
Before, during and after their missions, the designers will receive support from the strategic development consulting firm Mangrove.
We are enthusiastic about the partnerships and dialogue that will result from this representation of Montréal within UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.
