2015 Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents: the call has gone out!

August 28, 2015

Are you aged 35 years or less (or 40 or under if you are an architect)? Have you completed a project that deserves to be better known, or have you marketed an outstanding product? Submit your application to the Shenzhen Design Award for Young Talents competition and have your genius recognized!

This year, the theme of the biennial competition is Transformation: The Mission of Design. The Award rewards the efforts of young designers who, through their creativity, contribute to improving environmental quality as well as to social and economic development—more broadly, making cities more liveable. The competition also seeks to promote design as a major driver in the transformation of local economies.

In 2013, the interactive installation 21 Balançoires / 21 Swings by the studio Daily tous les jours took home the US$30,000 Grand Prize, while the Bornéo collective’s project Eau de source urbaine won a US$5,000 Merit Prize. It’s now your turn to submit a project and propel your career internationally!

Applications are being accepted until noon, Montréal time, on September 30.
