Trained in design and architecture in France, Lucie Leroux, founder of Laboratoire Textile, began her career in architectural lighting before moving to Montréal where she discovered textile printing. Blending both craft and new technologies, she puts material at the center of her tactile explorations and light at the center of her visual experiments. By combining folding with textile finishing techniques, she creates unique lighting fixtures with modern lines, dressed in geometric prints inspired by a minimalist aesthetic.
