As graphic designers (bertuch.ca) and object and furniture designers (nonuseless.com), we wander from one design discipline to the other, and occasionally amalgamate them. Since 2005, we have been creating items and furniture inspired by function and with maximum usefulness, hence the name of the studio, NON-USELESS. We believe in creating multifunctional and modular objects because this multiplies their usefulness and extends their life cycle and, in turn, lessens over-consumption and waste (on our small scale), optimizes small spaces, and avoids over-furnishing homes.
