Architecture Competition

Perspective view of the entrance: signage design inspired by historical drawings

Chevalier Morales Architectes wins the architecture competition for the expansion and redevelopment of the Saul-Bellow Library, in the Lachine borough.

Six other projects were analyzed by the jury, which met on June 8 and 9, 2011. After presentations and interviews with all the finalists, followed by its deliberations, the jury unanimously recommended the winning project. The winners will be mandated to complete the design, prepare plans and specifications and monitor construction work on the Saul Bellow Library. Professional engineering and other consulting services will be put to public tender and come under separate contracts.
