The jury met on January 16 and 17, 2020 to examine the 28 eligible proposals and name the five finalists that best met the competition’s evaluation criteria.
The second stage will consist of the finalists developing their proposal and creating a sketch. The presentation of finalists to the jury will take place on June 22, 2020. The jury will then deliberate to select the winning project, which will be announced in the fall of 2020.
As an exceptional measure, due to social distancing required by the health crisis, finalist presentations to the jury will be held by video conference and not before a live audience.
All competition documents, including competition proposals (stage 1), finalist presentations (stage 2), the competition program and rules, and the jury report will be made public when the city announces the winner. Other communication activities may also be organized.
