“La dolce vita, but without the nostalgia.” An up-to-date Italian restaurant, 2015 style, that pays homage to its roots. The materials, marble, terrazzo and mosaic tile all speak of Italy. The space is not large, but even that is turned to advantage, creating a sense of intimacy between the kitchen and diners – they could almost be involved in the cooking. Sober, masterful. The designers certainly used their noodles.
