Multidisciplinary Design Competition

The borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve invites the public to a public presentation of finalists in the multidisciplinary design competition to develop the Zone de rencontre Simon-Valois (Simon-Valois shared space).

The event is held in French.
A light snack will be provided.
Short breaks are planned between presentations.

Each finalist will have 20 minutes to present his project which will be followed by a jury question period of 20 minutes.

In October, the jury chose 4 finalist projects among 20 admissible propositions. During auditions, these finalists will outline the concept they have developed over the past few months.

For the public, it is an exceptional opportunity to attend a presentation that usually takes place behind closed doors and to discover the work of talented architects and designers. The public has no right to intervene.

Next steps

The jury will deliberate behind closed doors to select a winning team. An announcement will be made in February.
