Montreal Design Week - Register your activity for the official program

As part of the inaugural Montréal Design Week, Archi-Design QC and the City of Montréal are joining forces to issue a call for participation with the goal of identifying and amplifying creative initiatives in all design disciplines.

With financial support from the City of Montréal, 15 initiatives will be incorporated at no charge into the official event programming. This collaboration will facilitate access to the Montréal Design Week program while fostering greater diversity and representation of made-in-Montréal design, and in turn help reach a wider audience.

We therefore invite all Montréal-based designers as well as organizations active in the various disciplines of design and placemaking to suggest activities to be held as part of Montréal Design Week, taking place from April 28 to May 7, 2026.

Suggestions of activities can be as follows:

  • Exhibitions, installations or launches
  • Tours of workshops or studios, or open-house events
  • Creative or training workshops
  • Artistic performances
  • Meetings, discussions or conferences on Montréal-based design, architecture or creation
  • Guided tours of unusual or emblematic sites with architectural value
  • Architectural and urban walks
  • Public art projects
  • Immersive case studies (commented tours of completed projects)
  • Invitations to take part in a collective work
  • Any other initiatives conducive to discovery, creation, experimentation and dialogue around design

For more detailed information about this call for entries, visit the official event page.

The financial support provided by the City of Montréal will also enable British designer Bethan Laura Wood to attend the event as a guest of honour.

Montréal Design Week is created by Index-Design and organized by Archi-Design QC.
