In 2006, the Saint-Laurent Borough, in partnership with the Design Montréal office, held an urban design competition as part of plans to revitalize boulevard Décarie between boulevard de la Côte-Vertu and rue du Collège.
For Saint-Laurent Borough Mayor Alan DeSousa, the competition was an excellent way of making informed choices, after analyzing and comparing a number of detailed proposals.
