Large Silk Square

Claire Papillon has done one thing very well: create glam, modern fashion items that draw inspiration from Montréal historical and architectural landmarks. Her silk squares lend a particular perspective to these structures, with bold linear graphics forcing us to look at them differently, to discover them anew. Blending graphic design, illustration and textile motifs, the designer whirls between the figurative and the abstract.

Five models are available—with evocative names like Heure bleue, Nuit de la St-Jean, Été indien, Centre-ville and Muse, a pocket square—all presented in a small box or an ultragloss black sachet, poised to take flight.
