Pierrefonds Library in collaboration with LAAT and Architecture Microclimat

Winner

The Pierrefonds-Roxboro mobile collection

August 1, 2016 (in Grier Park), is the start date for a new activity in Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough parks, provided free of charge to one and all, young and older.

The mobile collection offers a selection of books on architecture, geometry, urban design, and built landscapes that can be browsed and read freely onsite.

The Pierrefonds Library, in collaboration with LAAT and Architecture Microclimat, has created a microsite for discoveries by residents. Follow the collection, which will be on the move throughout August with the "Récréobus." "Ma tente à lire" and "Ruche d'art" set up in the many green spaces all over the borough.

The co-founders of LAAT will facilitate an architecture workshop based on the books in the collection for ages 6 and up. They will introduce the concept of space via a folding craft activity for younger explorers and a drawing activity for the more visually oriented.
